She cared too much

Do you remember that girl?
Her sparkling eyes, her smile?
I wonder if you do,
You haven't seen her for a while.
Let me tell you what happened
When she was still there for me
That was a long time ago,
When she still used be free.

I became weaker and weaker,
And she stayed by my side,
She watched over me,
In all the darkness she was my light.
One day when I got stronger,
She was gone.
I knew where she went,
But I remembered she said I had to hold on.

You still don't know what I mean,
But this story is so so sad,
She cared too much for me
And now she's dead.
