Chapter 3: Coming out of the shadows

Two days passed but still no sign of the army. An army which leader was not yet known. Legolas and aragorn were thinking it could be a distraction 'Legolas, this can't be right! Maybe they are going to attack another kingdom.' 'Keep calm Aragorn, we don't know for sure. If help is needed a sign will show.' legolas answered calmly All of a sudden a huge bang sounded outside of Gondor. Amy saw everything start, they came out of the woods with a giant slingshot pushed by warlike trolls. Loaded with a big rock and followed by a few hundred goblins and orcs. 'It wasn't a distraction! It's a surprise attack! Guards to positions!' Aragorn shouted. Panic now overwhelmed the city of Gondor. Legolas stood by the archers of men and elves to lead them. 'Aim for the trolls !' Right after Legolas shouted this a few more trolls came from out the shadows of the forest. When the first goblin attacked war broke lose on the ground. Aragorn slaughtered him a way thru and after Legolas came down as skillful as he is, he killed every enemy coming near him. Men and elves were dying quite quickly "My turn to show that women can fight" As Amy thought this she started to attack, swiftly and cunning. Legolas immediatly noticed her presence and suprised how skillful she is. The enemies were running away or fighting till their last breath. One last goblin Aragorn had in his grip: 'Tell me now who your leader is! Or take the consequences! 'N-n-never, just kill me coward! the goblin answered with an evil grin on his face. The interrogation went on a few minutes until Amy got a hold of the goblin as she looked him in his filthy eyes she sissed: Tell it now or i'll cut for every wrong answer a piece of you! The goblin feared her, for her eyes shined with anger like a flickering flame. The goblin trembled and told them.

'Our leader is Telarim.' As soon as he said that Amy finished him. Aragorn's face turned pale and Legolas looked suspicious at him. 'Do you know who this leader is?'Amy asked calmly.
So Aragorn started to explain: ' He is a big follower of Sauron but he wasn't always. He wants to take revenge by claiming middle earth. Telarim is a man full of knowledge about strategy and planning and with the will to build an enormous army. The story goes back to when i was a kid, we were best friends. We grew up together but he couldn't stand it that i was the heir of Isildur. He just couldn't accept it that i was the rightful king of men. He became so jealous that he attacked me once, at that time or long lasted friendship broke and we never spoke again.'

Multiple questions came in the minds of Legolas and Amy, like is he dangerous? Is he even capable of leading a huge army? All of a sudden Aragorn noticed Amy ' And who are you? I'm king Aragorn, Mae g'ovannen(nice to meet you).' 'Amy Darkleaf of mirkwood. Mae g'ovannen.' Amy answered politely. 'mirkwood? as in kingdom of Thranduil, ada of Legolas?' Aragorn asked with a subtle look at legolas.'I thought women may not fight?' Amy looked at Aragorn with a wicked smile and simply said:'i followed them.' And she disappeared back into the shadows after winking at Legolas.
