Afternoon
Afternoon
You get out of bed. All covered in Toms clothing.
‘Darling?’ Tom leans on his elbow. You ignore him. Deep inside you think it will trigger him to follow you to the bathroom. You start giggling and suddenly you hear him walking behind you. ‘Where are you going?’
‘The shower,’ you answer and you take off his shirt. You feel how he stares at you, but also how he admires you. From head to toe.
‘So, I was thinking,’ you start while turning on the shower. ‘How about a walk in the park?’
Tom smiles at you and leans against the glass wall that separates you from him. You feel the warmth of the water flowing down your body. It reminds you of your moment with him. And all of a sudden your cheeks turn red.
‘What’s that?’ Tom teases you. ‘Are you blushing, darling?’
You start laughing.
‘No, I am not!’ you turn away from him, because you wanted to tease him as well as you could. If he wanted to see you blush, he had to take some action.
Suddenly you feel how he caresses your back.
‘My love,’ Tom starts. ‘You know, it’s about three o’ clock. Do you still want to go to the park?’
‘Yes,’ you answer while you rinse out your hair and step out of the shower.
Tom decides to dry your body by taking you close, rubbing the towel over your whole body. And again, you feel the warmth, the heat.
When you both are dressed, Tom grabs your hand and you walk downstairs, straight to the park close to your home.
‘It’s a marvellous day, isn’t it, love?’ Tom asks and you nod. It really is a wonderful day. You hear the sound of the singing birds, and the ducks swimming around in the pond.
And then, just looking a few meters further you notice these little boats.
‘Come, darling!’ you say to Tom and you grab both his hands and show him the lovely boats.
‘Twelve pound, please,’ a man with dark hair comes walking up to you and Tom gives him fifteen pound.
‘For saving us when we drown,’ he laughs, just like you and the man.
You both get into the boat. Somewhere you’re scared, you actually never did this before. At least, not with your one true love.
Tom starts peddling and soon enough you notice that there’s nothing to be nervous about.
‘The water looks amazing,’ you say while you’re looking behind Tom. The sun makes the water look like it contains thousands of diamonds.
‘Yes, it does.’ Tom leans forward and presses his lips onto yours. Again, you feel the butterflies. Somewhere the feeling is killing you. You want to give him so much more than just a kiss, but you can’t. Not in the pond. Not in public.
When you’re in the middle of the pond, Tom grabs you, pulls you close and starts kissing your forehead repeatedly. You feel in love, heavily in love.
‘It were hard weeks,’ you start. ‘and actually, I was scared.’
You turn around so you can lie between his legs. He grabs your hand.
‘Why?’ he asks you while he starts caressing it slowly. Somewhere you don’t want to tell him that you doubted his feelings. Because you feel like it doesn’t even make any sense. But still, you promised each other to always be true and always share your thoughts.
‘I was scared that I would lose you,’ you say and you suddenly feel how Tom pulls you even closer to him. He doesn’t want you to be scared.
‘You know that you will never lose me, right?’ he asks you and you nod.
‘I know, but still…’
Tom caresses the back of your head.
‘You have nothing to worry about, darling.’
