Prologue

Alice woke up in a hospital. She looked around, she saw faces she did not recognised. Faces she had never seen before. “Oh Alice! You’re awake!” Said a woman who was crying from fresh pain and from fresher happiness. “Excuse me miss, who are you? ”The woman looked shocked and covered her face in her hands. The man besides the woman wasn’t crying and tried to calm down the woman “She doesn’t recognises us, she doesn’t know who we are.” Alice looked at the people in her room. “Who are you people?” In the room there were four other people.
The man cleared his throat and said “Alice, This is your older brother Blake, and your younger brother Daniel.” Alice looked at the two boys. “Blake, and.. Daniel..” Daniel looked full hope at Alice. Alice looked at Daniel and she saw a little kid with blond hair, emerald green eyes and sparkling pupils. The other guy was tall and had brown hair, and hazel green eyes. Both green, for a second Alice did wonder what her eyes would look like, if those two boys really were her brothers. Would they also be green?
“And we’re your parents Alice.” Alice looked at the two people standing in her room, she still didn’t remember anything at all. “I..I can’t remember anything, I’m sorry.” Alice looked at her blanked and asked “Why? Why can’t I remember anything that happened, not even my name.” “You were a victim of an accident a few weeks ago” “Weeks?! Do you mean I was unconscious all this time?” Alice stared again at her blanked and thought about all the information she just got from people who call their selves her parents, even though she can’t remember anything or anyone. She whispered “I lost my memory.. I lost basically everything I had until now..” Alice wanted to cry but held back her tears and just stared. “Mom, dad..? Can I talk to Alice for a few moments?” asked Blake. The woman nodded and said “Sure honey, we will wait outside, are you coming Daniel? “No!” Said Daniel quick. “Sis is finally awake! I need to be with her and protect her!” He ran towards the bed that Alice was in and grabbed her hand. The woman and man looked at Alice and Alice nodded to say it was okay that Daniel stayed with them. They looked at Blake, he nodded too, to confirm he would keep an eye on Daniel. The woman and the man left the room.
“How do you feel, Alice?” “I feel fine I guess, besides the fact I can’t remember any face I ever saw.” Blake looked at his sister and smiled at Alice. “Is it okay for me to sit there?” He pointed at the bed Alice was in. “Sure.” He sat beside her and Daniel tried to climb on the lap of his brother. Blake helped his little brother up and laughed while Daniel was talking about how happy he was his sister woke up and his plans to do together with her when she is out of the hospital.
“He was really worries about you, every night he couldn’t sleep and would sneak into my room and wake me up to tell me he was worried about you and that he wanted to see you walk and talk.” Blake smiled when he was talking about his little brother. They do look alike. “He was scared something would happen to you again so he slept with me in my bed, I would tell him stories about us and he would fall asleep right away, he is such a good kid.”
Alice looked at Daniel, he was smiling the brightest he could. “Not only I was worry about you, Sis! Big brother was also very worried, he was frustrated and couldn’t enjoy a thing until now. He loves you very much, I say that because I know you forgot that.” Alice smiled. “Thanks, Daniel.” “No problem!” Daniel swings with his legs and looks at his sister. “You two still really do look alike, how did you call that again?” “You mean Twins?” asked Blake. “Yes! I meant that! You two are twins! Did you know that already?, Or did you forgot what you looked like?” “Daniel, stop with all the questions for today. We need to give her rest, not exhaust her more.” “Oh, I’m sorry sis, I will stop.” Alice shook her head. “It’s okay, I feel fine, but did he said we are twins? Tell me, please.” He smiled, he was happy she talked much more to him then he did to their parents. “We’re twins, and it’s like Daniel said, we really look alike.” “Cool” She said while smiling at her brother. “When do you come home with us, sis?” “I don’t know what the doctor said.” “Would you like to see some pictures of us before the accident?” “I’d love to.” Blake took his phone out of his pocket and showed her some pictures. “This was on Daniels birthday.” Alice looked at the picture. He pointed at a girl next to himself. “That’s you, see, we really look alike.” He was totally right, they do look like each other, a lot. “Wow, yes, we do.” “Want to see the picture too!” “But you have already seen it, Daniel.” “I have not!” Blake sighted and smiled. “There you go.” He showed Daniel the picture.
“Sis, you’re so beautiful. I want to be like Blake when I grow up, because he is handsome too, and now I’m only 6 but when I grow up I’m gonna be a handsome young man too! Dad said so!” Alice laughed. “You’re already a handsome young, very young man.” Daniel smiled the brightest he could. “I love you, sis.” Alice didn’t recognized them, she doesn’t know anything about them. But she feels that these two guys are really important to her. She doesn’t have to remember to feel a bond. Cause bonds are just there. “I love you too, Daniel.” Daniel leant forward and hugged his sister he couldn’t hold or talk to for weeks. She felt two other arms around them and those were Blakes. “We missed you so much, Alice.”
